This contest and School Takeover is open to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students in participating schools

ESSAY CONTEST

Four (4) Miami-Dade and Broward County elementary schools

THIS IS A TWO-PART EVENT!!!

PHASE 1
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students at participating schools must submit original answers in essay form to the below two (2) questions.
QUESTION #1: In your point of view what has been the impact of social media in our society? Explain the positive and negative effects that social media can play in our society.
QUESTION #2: If you were the president of the United States for one (1) month, what changes would you make in order to make this country a better place? And why?
*THIS CONTEST WAS CREATED TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THE UPCOMING FLORIDA ASSESSMENT OF STUDENT THINKING (FAST) TEST*

PHASE 2
After all essays have been collected from the schools, they will be submitted to and read by our team. After reviewing all essays, a winner from each school will be chosen. The student who wrote the winning essay from each school will receive a school takeover party for their school and a special treat for their class.
The school takeover event will include: 🔹A DJ playing music throughout lunch for the entire school 🔹A pizza party and other goodies for the winning class 🔹Treats, goodies, and giveaways 🔹Surprise guest 🔹A special gift for the winning student 🔹A fun day that these students will NEVER forget.
