YG Gets UNCENSORED About Fatherhood, His New Movie & More

As our listeners gathered outside of Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, one fan stood near the front of the line with a painting in his hands. Markeven Williams wore a white, Beardsace t-shirt with a red bandana wrapped around his neck with hopes to gain the attention of rap star YG, who has a passion for all things red. Williams was one of many fans who couldn’t wait to get inside for a live experience with YG that they’ll never forget.

Although he reps the West coast 24/7 and makes annual trips to Australia, Miami is like a summer home away from his home in Bompton, CA. Earlier this week (July 30), the 4Hunnid rapper came home to rock out with the ‘Afternoon Get Down’ Supa Bindy and DJ Entice for another round of 99 JAMZ’s exclusive event ‘UNCENSORED.’ Before YG arrived, DJ Lucky B, DJ Hercules, our new morning host Georgette and the Pac Jam’s own DJ Nasty and Big Mack provided the vibes with their own mixes and random dance breaks that got the crowd hype to see YG.

YG made his grand entrance by performing his summer smash "Big Bank." Afterwards, he sat down with Supa Bindy and Entice to talk about everything from his new album Stay Dangerous to what's going on in his personal life. Stay Dangerous is YG's third studio album and is set to feature Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Mozzy, Jay 305, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Quavo and more. Before the album drops this Friday, YG opens up about the beginning of his career, gang life, and how fatherhood has impacted his life.

Midway into the interview, Lucky and Herc went out into the crowd to let the audience ask YG questions. That’s when the enamored artist got the opportunity to give YG the painting he made for him.

YG also talks about his breakout acting role in an upcoming film White Boy Rick with Matthew McConaughey, which hits theaters everywhere Sept. 14th, and how he feels about being underrated. Watch YG's 'UNCENSORED' interview in full below. Stay Dangerous drops this Friday, August 3rd.
