6ix9ine may be on house arrest after he was released from prison, but that’s not stopping him from working on new music. While the Brooklyn attempts to revive his music career, one rapper who previously collaborated with Tekashi isn’t trying to work with him in the future.
In a recent interview, 50 cent said that he would not work with 6ix9ine on new music. 50 did link up with Tekashi, Uncle Murda and Casanova for Murda's "Get The Strap." However, it appears as though isn't trying to reunite with 6ix9ine.
"I wouldn’t work with him," 50 said. "What it is, is it’s just against the way I grew up."
Once the clip of 50’s response went viral, 6ix9ine saw it and reacted accordingly. According to The Shade Room’s comment section, 6ix9ine accused 50 of abandonment.
"Won't be the first time 50 abandons his son......," 6ix9ine wrote. "Lemme just mind my business”
Although he’s been cleared to work again, it doesn’t seem like 6ix9ine will be able to travel anywhere for awhile. The last time 6ix9ine was in the 305 was back at the 2018 Lit Up Music Festival. Since then, 6ix9ine was arrested on federal racketeering charges in November 2018. After serving over a year in prison, Tekashi was approved to serve out the rest of his prison sentence at home due to the coronavirus outbreak in New York’s state prisons. While he’s at home, the rapper was also approved to go outside into his backyard to create music videos and into his basement to make music.
